Join the Next Generation of Green Leaders
Partnering with students, universities, and employers to build green careers, prepare today’s workforce, and create lasting environmental impact.
The future of work is green. Employers everywhere are hiring for it.
Across every field, employers are looking for people with the skills and creativity to build a more sustainable world.
In 2024, clean energy jobs grew 3x faster than the U.S. average, adding nearly 100,000 new positions across renewables, efficiency, and the grid (E2, Clean Jobs America 2025). And according to LinkedIn, workers with green skills are 54% more likely to be hired. The future of work isn’t coming. It’s already here.
Sure, this is about protecting the planet. But it’s also about jobs. Real paychecks. Careers students actually want. The kind where they build something that matters.
At MobilizeGreen, we get students ready for this moment. We connect them with employers who are hiring now, give them skills that translate to paychecks, and help them launch careers in the fastest-growing sector of the economy.

From Campus to Career: Building the Green Talent Pipeline
Colleges teach theory. We teach students how to get hired.
The future of work is green, but most students aren’t ready for it.
Companies are eager for people with green skills: renewable energy, sustainability planning, and conservation work. And colleges? They’re struggling to catch up. A degree alone won’t cut it anymore. Students need skills that employers will actually pay for.
Our new release summary, The Future of Work Is Green, lays out what educators and employers told us about the skills gap. More importantly, it shows how colleges can prepare students for jobs that exist right now, not five years from now.
Read the release summary today and stay tuned for the full report coming soon.
In 2014, we started with a simple idea: every student deserves an opportunity to a land a job in the green economy. Not just kids at top schools with the right connections. Everyone.
What happened to that idea in 2014? It’s now a national network of over 4,000 trained students and hundreds of employers. We’ve helped young people land jobs in renewable energy, forest restoration, and climate policy.
Our students have restored forests, built solar arrays, and launched careers they’re genuinely excited about. That’s what a green economy actually looks like.
Yes, we prepare people for jobs. But honestly? We’re more interested in shaping a generation that cares about the planet and knows how to fix it.
